Street stage “Al Tareeq” is a portable stage (2×2 meters) that pops up in different public spaces in Palestine, bringing artists to the streets and art to the everyday life of passers-by.
With this project krinal | mansour invites artists to collaborate together to claim the public spaces in Ramallah as an open artistic plat- form, to enhance artists’ visibility in the public sphere, while also offering the public free access to art.
In 2017, with the support of Goethe Institut, we implemented three events on the street stage:

Performances by Orient & Dance Theatre ballet students, Danish violinist Lune Person, Oriental music duo Musa Khattab and Zaki Jada, and juggler Hamada Toqan. In cooperation with Orient & Dance Theatre and Al-Bireh Municipality.
27th October in Qadora Park, Ramallah
Performances by puppeteers Ramzi Kandalaft and Raed Khattab and Oriental music group (Rashed Riyad Rimawi, Ahmad Aruuri, Izzeddin M. Said, Thamer Husni and Husam Jubeh). After scheduled performances, we offered “open mic” for everybody in the audience. resulting in two hours of children singing, acting and reading poetry. In cooperation with Ramallah Municipality.
